Samsung Odyssey Ark Gen 2 4K UHD Curved Gaming Monitor¶
Over the past several years, I have tried several different monitor configurations from dual 1080p displays, quad 1920x1200 Displays to a massive 1200x2160p curved display and none of them seem to hit the sweet spot for me. I was walking through a Best Buy in Las Vegas and immediately fell in love with the Samsung 55 Ich Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen Display. This massive display checked all of the boxes - except the fact that it would not fit in my car at the time (2025 Toyota Camry). I later ordered it on Amazon to be delivered to my house and it has been amazing.
UTESPELARE Gaming Desk¶
One of the downsides of the Samsung 55 Ich Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen Display is the weight. The weight from the Odyssey Ark's stand alone is enough to snap most desks in half, yet alone the weight of the full Samsung 55 Ich Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen Display so this required me to search for reinforced desk that can take the weight - enter the Ikea UTESPELARE Gaming Desk which uses a metal frame with a metal reinforced wood desktop. It's a great desk but dont ask me to pronounce Ikea's name for it.
GL.iNet GL-RM10 Comet Pro Remote KVMs¶
While the Samsung 55 Ich Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen Display has a built in KVM to allow you to toggle between 4 machines, Samsung's implimentation leaves a lot to be desired. As such I have purchased 5x GL.iNet GL-RM10 Comet Pro Remote KVMs. This allows me to use 1 of my laptops as a KVM Console and I use a web browser to control my other machines over my local LAN and are also accessable over my private ZeroTier VPN Tunnel for remote access.
Anker Nano Laptop Docking Station, 13in1 Dock with Detachable 6in1 USBC Hub¶
We live in a amazing world where all my devices can be connected to my massive Samsung 55 Ich Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen Display with a single USB-C Cable. Unfortunately Samsung failed to impliment support for USB-C Displays so I have resorted to using the Anker Nano Laptop Docking Station as a bridge between the laptop I am choosing to use that day and my Samsung 55 Ich Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen Display. This docking station works flawlessly with my Windows Laptops, Linux Laptops, ChromeOS Devices and even my phones for Samsung Dex.
The Anker Nano Laptop Docking Station has a decent number of USB-A and USB-C Ports, a built in SD and MicroSD Card Reader, Ethernet and several display outputs. I do have an additional USB A 3.0 Hub connected for a webcam and a few logitech USB dongles. The Anker Nano Laptop Docking Station does also have one party trick that I rarely use, a Mini USB-C Travel Dock can pop out with the press of a button and be thrown in a backpack for use while traveling.
Logitech MX Mechanical Wireless Illuminated Keyboard¶
I would never consider myself a keyboard snob but I have grown to really like the Logitech MX Mechanical Wireless Illuminated Keyboard, It has shown to be very reliable and has a battery that makes it last months between charges. I normally keep the backlight off but it is nice to have the option to enable the backlight during late night coding sessions.
Logitech MX Master 3S Bluetooth Wireless Mouse¶
My mouse of choice is the Logitech MX Master 3S Bluetooth Wireless Mouse, I pair it via Bluetooth to the most common machines that I use, the Logitech MX Master 3S Bluetooth Wireless Mouse does support the ability to be paired to up to 3 devices and there is a button on the underside to quickly switch between paired devices. Much like the Logitech MX Mechanical Wireless Illuminated Keyboard, the Logitech MX Master 3S Bluetooth Wireless Mouse will last me several months on a charge and can be charged with a standard USB-C Cable.
The Nvidia DGX Spark¶
Both my professional career and personal hobbies have converged on AI research and development; as such I use a unconventional computer as my primary desktop, the Nvidia DGX Spark. The Nvidia DGX Spark is not a computer designed for general use, it is optimized for on-device AI workloads. It is powered by the Nvidia GB10 Grace Blackwell Chip with 128 GB of Unified RAM and 4 TB of local storage (of course I augmented this with several external drives.)
